CHINAPLAS 2009 Unveiled Opportunities for Almost 70,000 Visitors Joined Hands with
the Industry to Combat Economic Crisis
Despite the global economic crisis, swine flu outbreak and the rainy weather in
Guangzhou throughout the show period, CHINAPLAS 2009 (The 23rd International Exhibition
on Plastics and Rubber Industries), held from May 18-21, 2009 at China Import and
Export Fair Pazhou Complex, Guangzhou, PR China, was well attended by 11 country
/ regional pavilions, 1,840 exhibitors and about 70,000 buyers from all around the
world. The strong participation of both exhibitors and buyers demonstrated not only
the promising outlook for China's plastics and rubber industries, but also the continuing
