Show History
Accompanying the growth of China's plastics and rubber industries for over 20 years, CHINAPLAS has become a distinguished meeting and business platform for these industries and has also largely contributed to their prosperous development. At present, CHINAPLAS is not only the largest plastics and rubber trade fair in Asia, it is also widely recognized by the industry as the 3rd most influential exhibition in the world. Its significance is surpassed only by K Fair in Germany, the world's premier plastics and rubber trade fair, and NPE in USA, the second largest plastics fair in the world.

UFI Approved Event
CHINAPLAS has been certified as a “UFI Approved Event” by the Global Association of the Exhibition Industry (UFI), an internationally-recognized representative body of the international trade fair sector. This endorsement further demonstrates CHINAPLAS' proven track record as an international event, with professional standards of exhibition and visiting services as well as quality project management.

The Only Event Endorsed by EUROMAP in China
Since 1987, CHINAPLAS has gained sustained support from EUROMAP (European Committee of Machinery Manufacturers for the Plastics & Rubber Industries) as the Sponsor. In 2010 edition, it will be the 21st consecutive edition to earn EUROMAP as the exclusive sponsor in China.
EUROMAP's exhibition policy aims to help worldwide plastics and rubber industries to differentiate the good and right exhibitions to participate, and at the same time, to stop proliferation of low quality exhibitions. Therefore, it only supports large-scale trade show with high quality including K Fair, NPE, CHINAPLAS, etc. Mr Bernhard Merki, President of EUROMAP pointed out, "EUROMAP has supported CHINAPLAS for 21 consecutive times. The exhibition is held in China annually and it increases its scale, number of exhibitors and visitors year by year. It has become a well known and effective platform for the plastics and rubber industries in the world."
