extrex® – Gear pump for gentle handling
Maag extrusion pumps delivering consistent flow, regardless of downstream discharge pressure, with virtually no fluctuations in delivered pressure. Installed between the extruder and die, the pump takes on the job of generating pressure, leaving the extruder only responsible for feeding, melting, and mixing. The result is significant energy savings, less gauge variation for higher product quality with less material usage, and lower melt temperatures that in turn enable higher throughput rates.
