| Auto industry is one of pillar industries in China. In 2009, the state has firstly adopted "Auto Industry Restructuring and Revitalization Plan", and also implemented economic stimulation packages and supportive measures, including: subsidies to purchase of vehicles by farmers, reduction of purchase tax and old-for-new services, helping to stimulate significantly domestic auto market to bounce back quickly. Electric wire & cable industry is the second largest industry in China next to auto industry, with the main business income up to 1/4 of electric industry in China. The currently available plastics for electric wires & cables include flexible polyvinyl chloride plastics for electric wire & cable, black polyethylene plastics for electric wires & cables and polyvinyl chloride plastics for overhead cables etc. In term of the most updated product development, the two main products are cable materials exclusively used for wind power generation and 1E Cat. K1 cables for nuclear station.

The lighting electrical appliance industry grows annually by 15%~20% in recent years. Despite of financial crisis last year, the production was recovered in the second half of this year. So, it's predicted that the consumption of plastics will grow by 15%~20%.
