Although the export of China's plastics machinery has been affected by the global financial crisis, suppliers in China remain confident. Jwell, an extrusion line provider based in Shanghai, has invested wisely on R&D and the company's latest products will be presented in Chinaplas 2009 from May 18 to 21 in Guangzhou. The company's General Manager, Zhang Ruzhong, recently joined our staff reporter from 2456.com and discussed Jwell's latest development. Newest technologies among the exhibits "Every year Chinaplas offers us the best opportunity to meet customers from different countries. It is an important platform to showcase the newest technologies. Through our communication with customers in Chinaplas we can work out the best solution for them." In this May, Jwell will exhibit the PC optic sheet extrusion line, EVA solar sheet extrusion line as well a seven meters waterproof sheet machine. The optic sheet line is capable of producing high quality sheet used for liquid crystal display (LCD). Investment showing strong confidence Besides technological innovation, Jwell has also improved its facility and production capacity. In 2008 the company opened a new facility in Taicang city, Jiangsu Province, which covers around 250 acres. The first factory was already in operation. With 150 sets of high precision processing machines the factory produces chrome dies and roller. Suzhou Dyun and Suzhou Jwell, the two machinery companies under Jwell group, have also moved in. In addition, the group introduced dozens of large size high precision processing machines and ultra mirror roller milling machines in the group's base in Shanghai. "Buyers of machinery are now very cautious these days," Zhang said. " They want machinery of higher performance and processing capacity. To build better machines we have to invest, no matter the economy works for or against us." "We are an exporter of machinery, with overseas clients coming from more than 60 countries and regions, and we know very well the financial crisis is leading to less export orders. We were glad to have taken the initiative before the turmoil, improving our product by enhancing technology. We believe we can win the market by introducing energy saving, high performance ratio machinery." Zhang continued, "The good news is overseas demand on these machinery is increasing. I am sure Jwell is ready to face any challenges that could happen in 2009." |
