ICE (Istituto nazionale per il Commercio Estero or Italian Trade Commission) is a public-sector organization whose task is the promotion, facilitation and development of commerce between Italy and the rest of the world, thereby encouraging the internationalization of Italian companies and their consolidation of in the foreign market, particularly Small and Medium-sized enterprises. The Institute, headquartered in Rome, has 17 offices in Italy and an overseas network of 115 offices in 86 countries. ICE, via its network in Italy and abroad, guarantees support to each domestic company wishing to enter and establish themselves in the global market. ICE also assists Italian companies in the area of international cooperation, as to facilitate access to financing from international organizations, as well as to stimulate and procure opportunities in joint ventures, industrial and technological partnerships. ASSOCOMAPLAST Founded in 1960, ASSOCOMAPLAST, a non-profit Association, now represents 172 important companies, Italian plastics and rubber machinery, ancillary equipment and moulds manufacturers. The main aim of ASSOCOMAPLAST is to promote worldwide the knowledge of the Italian plastics and rubber processing technologies that are at the top of the world market, in terms of production and export outputs. Through its commercial company PROMAPLAST srl, ASSOCOMAPLAST publishes the monthly technical magazine MACPLAS and MACPLAS INTERNATIONAL (www.macplas.it) which, with a total circulation of 48,000 copies in 5 different editions, in as many languages - from English to Russian - beside some special supplements ensures the world market coverage.
