Indian Plastics federation (IPF) was founded in 1958. It has over seven hundred members that include raw material manufacturers, distributors, processors, dealers and others. It is also one of the founder member of Plastindia Foundation - an apex body of plastics Associations in India who organises International exhibition PLASTINDIA at New Delhi, India once in three years. IPF also organises International exhibition on Plastics INDPLAS and seminars at Kolkata, India. The next INDPLAS 12 will be held from October 5th to 8th October at Science City, Kolkata, India. IPF also publishes monthly magazine "PLASTICS INDIA" on the latest development in the field of plastics. IPF is setting up a knowledge centre near Kolkata on 1.02 acre plot of land that has been offered by State Government Agency. Substantial surplus from the INDPLAS exhibition will be utilised for development of this Knowledge Centre. |
