Thermoplay Italy was established in 1995 and continues the development of the hot runners for plastic injection moulding that they started in 1974. The company is manufacturing on a site covering 11.000 sq metres with a workforce of more than 150 people supplying a further 80 technicians/agents throughout 45 countries worldwide. In order to increase the sales network and the technical service, many subsidiaries have been established abroad in UK, Germany, France, Portugal, Brasil and China. The actual manufacturing capacity in Italy has been doubled in 2008 by building a new factory beside the existing one. Technological and quality research of products have pushed Thermoplay to the forefront in the hot runner sector ensuring its customers a complete technical assistance for problem solving. Study, planning, production and testing are carried out on systems continuously by engineers and technicians specialised in mechanics and materials. The attainment of ISO 9001certification of quality was a milestone helping to guarantee the company future in the plastic industry. The product range consists of 400 type of nozzle, 80 standard manifold systems, temperature controllers 1-128 zones, flow analysis, special custom designed projects, bi-injection, multi-materials and sequential injection using pneumatic or hydraulic valves. We believe we can satisfy every constructive need for hot runner moulds in the automotive, packaging, electronics, medical, micromechanics, and new emerging markets. Thermoplay guarantees assistance whilst offering testing for customers on new generation and technically advanced plastic materials. Thermoplay will respond within 24 hours to all general queries, technical support and quotation request. The ensured delivery of standard manifolds and nozzles shown in catalogue is within 10 days from order; 30 days are required for special systems from confirmed technical details and order date. Flow analysis and in-depth simulations are executed in order to solve the manufacturing problems of the plastic part design, in the earliest stages of the product development.
