PTFE micropowder is a kind of free flow white powder with low molecular weight, its made from PTFE resin by special processing technology. GNMs PTFE micropowder could improve both lubricity and wear resistance of engineering plastic, reducing its friction. For many plastics, GNMs PTFE micropowder can greatly improve its tribological properties and enable them replace lubricating metal parts for more excellent wear & corrosion resistance. PTFE micropowder help to improve PV limit value and reduce the coefficient of friction between slip sheet, pulley, bearing, cam and gear parts. GNMs PTFE micropowder could be added to elastomers enhance the surface and bulk properties of parts. Fluoroadditives can be blended using the customary methods of incorporation of additives into elastomers, using Banbury or two-roll mixers. High concentrations (up to 30–50% by weight of base elastomer) of PTFE micropowders can be formulated in the elastomers without compromising elastic behavior.
