synflow, the proven 2-speed pin opening control for eliminating cosmetic defects in hydraulically-operated cascade injection molding, is included in the activeGate family. In addition to controlling the initial opening speed of the pin, synflow now offers the ability to stop the valve pin at any position of the stroke. This process allows for individual flow rate control out of each nozzle to balance family molds or fill complex multi-gated geometries.
