China National Resources Recycling Association (CRRA) was established in 1993. It is a national-level corporate legal person industry organization approved and registered by the Ministry of Civil Affairs of China, and is subordinate to the State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission of the State Council. CRRA is composed of professional companies (groups), industrial and mining enterprises, waste trading companies and other processors and traders in China for the recycling and utilization of renewable resources, and includes members such as scientific research, academies, social organizations, and individuals. There are currently more than 1,200 member unit. China Plasitc Recycling Association of CRRA (CPRA) was formally separated from the Department of Recycling Plastics as a branch in 2014, who strive for a fair development environment for the recycled plastics industry, enhance the image of the industry, and let the government, the media and the public truly understand the industry; actively cooperate with relevant government departments to formulate industry access and environmental protection standards, recycling system construction, development plans, management regulations and policies; build a communication and exchange platform for the recycled plastics industry in international and domestic research, production, processing, financing, transportation, sales, trade dispute mediation, legal services, certification supervision, etc., and actively help recycled plastics companies exploit domestic and international markets, improve technical levels and market competitiveness, reflect the voice of the industry, gather the strength of the industry, and provide a full range of services for the development and growth of the recycled plastics industry.
