Lanzhou Auxiliary Plant Limited Liability Company, established in 1966 by China's State Science and Technology Commission and the former Ministry of Chemical Industry, pioneered professional organic peroxide production in China. It was created to support Lanzhou Petrochemical in localizing catalysts for high-pressure polyethene production. In 2017, after restructuring under the Gansu Science and Technology Investment Group, the company relocated to the Lanzhou New District Fine Chemical Industry Park in January 2021. With a registered capital of RMB 114.47 million and 176 employees, the company manufactures a diverse range of products, including organic peroxides, acyl chlorides, anionic surfactants, water-reducing agents, and polylactic acid. Recognized as a national high-tech enterprise, it features two provincial engineering laboratories. It mainly serves major petrochemical giants like Sinopec and PetroChina, exporting 20% of its products to over thirty countries.
