The continuous SSP (Solid State Polycondensation) production process, developed and manufactured by ACERETECH for food-grade rPET (Recycled Polyethylene Terephthalate), consists of several key components. These components seamlessly integrate with preceding granulation equipment to achieve continuous crystallization and viscosity enhancement of rPET pellets. This system is capable of achieving approximately 0.02dl/g/H viscosity enhancement, effectively removing acetaldehyde to ensure its content is ≤1ppm, and reducing the levels of both polar and non-polar toxic volatile compounds (such as 3-acetone, toluene, benzophenone, and tetrahydronaphthalene) to less than 200PPB. These capabilities enable it to meet the stringent requirements for food-grade recycled pellets.
