freeformer adopts ARBURG's unique Plastic Freeforming (APF) . It is characterized by an open system specifically designed to use qualified standard plastic particles, targeted adjustment of droplet size and process control, personalized additive manufacturing of products, and testing and processing of its own materials. Currently registered certified reference materials include ABS (Terluran GP35), PA (GrilamidTRXE4010), PC (Makrolon 2805), TPE-U (Elastollan C78 A 15) and PPB (Braskem CP 393). Also included are specialty plastics for special applications, such as medical PLLA (Purasorb PL 18, Resomer LR 708) or PC approved for aerospace flight (Lexan 940). Products can be printed in up to 3 colors. Targeted adjustment of the droplet size and process control achieve the same tensile strength as the injection molding process. Freeformer can individually additively manufacture products, as well as test and process its own materials. Extremely flexible.
