Cobalt violet is an inorganic pigment prepared by high temperature calcination of cobalt phosphate, which is a kind of purple pigment with high color saturation and moderate shades of brightness. It has non-migration and color stability, and can be used in combination with various pigments including organic pigments to present different chromatic performance and coloring rate. Cobalt violet has good heat resistance, light resistance and medium weather resistance, but poor acid and alkali resistance. Cobalt Violet is compatible with most resin systems and polymers and is non-warping. It is mainly used in high temperature resistant coatings, fluorocarbon coatings, outdoor high weathering coatings, outdoor plastic products, plastic steel door and window profiles, masterbatches, and high-end art pigments.
