When polymers are charged with static electricity, dust may be attracted during production, molding and use, and in severe cases, it may even cause fire or explosion risks. When antistatic masterbatch is added to the polymer, the hydrophilic end extends to the outside of the polymer, and the lipophilic end is arranged inside the polymer. The protruding hydrophilic end absorbs moisture from the surrounding air to establish a conductive path, thereby reducing the surface resistance.
