Executive Vice President of Guangdong Industrial Design Association (GDIDA), Master of Industrial Design Department of Academy of Arts & Design, Tsinghua University, under the tutelage of Professor Liu Guanzhong. Senior industrial designer, top ten promotion figures of China's industrial design, member of the Art Design Education and Teaching Steering Committee of the Provincial Department of Education, and expert member of the Expert Working Committee of the China Industrial Design Association.
Since 2005, Mr. Zhou Hongshi has worked full-time in GDIDA, and has successively served as Deputy Secretary General and Secretary General. Since 2008, he has served as judges for many local and foreign industrial design competitions. He has successively served as an industrial design expert pool member of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, the Department of Culture, and the of various municipal governments. He has participated in government consultation and evaluated industrial design support projects and worked part-time as a consultant and teacher for many enterprises and colleges at home and abroad.

- Experiencing intangible culture and advanced concept through tangible materials is one of value of CMF(color, material, finish). Demonstrate the functional, aesthetic and circularity of polycarbonate materials through CMF design. In this presentation, we will share the series project that Covestro’s global CMF team who collaborating with well-known academia on latest CMF solution based on the concept of “sustainable design”, it aims to integrate CMF aesthetics design into more sustainable polycarbonate material portfolio from Covestro, whiling promoting a design approach that brings together aesthetic and circular design.

Emily Shi, graduated from Japan Joshibi University of Art and Design, got the MFA on Color Study. She has 16 years working experience on CMF design and trend forecasting in Mobility, Electronics and Healthcare industries.
Synopsis:
Plastics are used more and more widely. Plastic is also an indispensable and important material in many industries. In the post-epidemic era, the price of materials is rising and circular economy is advocated. Plastic artworks can be reused. Plastic materials can not only create charming postures in exterior design, but also create textures similar to metal and wood through different coating and post-processing methods. Thus, plastics have high economic benefits and realize circular economic benefits.

Mr. Ivan Wu has an MBA and specializes in consumer behavior research. He is currently working as the General Manager of Nova Design. Furthermore, he implements strategic layout, product development, brand transformation, big data analysis and other projects at Sanyang Motor to promote the combination of product development and industrial design, using various plastic materials as an important development of the appearance, and creating circular economic benefits.

- With the formulation of China's 2060 carbon neutrality targets, there is a seismic shift of electric vehicles (EV) in the share of automotive market. As such batteries and charging equipment have become increasingly important emerging applications that can support this growing market. SABIC BLUEHERO™ product series is committed to providing lightweight, reliable and environmentally friendly material solutions for customers in the EV market. In addition, its matured line of recycled material solutions can also contribute to plastic circularity and carbon reduction.

Mao Wenjuan graduated with a Master's Degree in Vehicle Engineering. She is deeply engaged in the field of design, simulation and molding process of automotive and electronic components, while also focusing on material solutions for new energy charging equipment.

Daniel Dai, an expert in materials science, focuses on the development and design of new materials and has more than ten years of experience in the development of automotive materials industry. Cai Linjia, Manager of SABIC Corporate Sustainability Strategy team in Asia, is based in SABIC Research and Development Center (Shanghai) and responsible for SABIC’s sustainability development strategy, including Carbon Neutrality strategy, application and promotion of SABIC’s low carbon footprint solutions and circular economy initiatives. Before joining SABIC, she worked in EY Climate Change and Sustainability Service team and in China Quality Certification Center Climate Change and Low Carbon department.
