The twin-rotor continuous mixer is a new type of rubber-plastic continuous mixing machine which has been successfully developed by our company in China. It not only can work continuously, but also maintains the excellent mixing characteristics of the mixer. Its shape is very similar to that of twin-screw extruder (as shown in Figure 1), but the way of feeding and discharging is different from that of twin-screw extruder. Various macromolecule materials are added to the continuous mixer through a quantitative feeder, which is threaded by the rotor feeding section to the mixing section. In the rotor mixing section, the material is first pushed forward by the screw edge connected with the screw thread in the feeding section, while the screw edge connected with the unloading section forces the material to move in the opposite direction. In this way, the material is accumulated here and is sheared, rolled, crushed, melted and mixed. With the continuous addition of new materials, the mixed materials are eventually forced to move to the unloading section and discharged through the unloading door.
The advantages lie in:
1. According to the process characteristics, wedge-shaped high-efficiency rotor configuration is tailored for you. It has good dispersive filling and mixing effect, large production capacity, and does not need high-speed mixer pretreatment.
2. Computer real-time monitoring of the whole system, uniform mixing quality, stable production process;
3. Low power consumption (only about 1.2% of the conventional mixing process), reducing production costs;
4. The worker's labor intensity is low and the production environment is good (the dust emission is reduced by more than 90% compared with the conventional method).
The equipment can be used to mix and granulate filling masterbatch, color masterbatch and cable material. It has the characteristics of uniform dispersion, large filling volume, simple process, high production capacity and energy saving. Such as: high filling black masterbatch (carbon black filling more than 50%), halogen-free flame retardant cable material (filling more than 70%), various medium and high voltage cable shielding materials, high-grade color masterbatch (filling up to 50%), PE pressure tube special masterbatch, non-lubricant highly dispersed high filling masterbatch and other high-quality rubber-plastic blending and modification materials urgently needed by the market in China.
