Silopren® LSR: Low-temperature Cure LSR Series
Momentive® innovated LSR (Liquid Silicone Rubber) Silopren® - Low Temperature Cure series, which can be cured at relatively low temperatures, broadens the spectrum of plastic substrates for the overmolding process while also increasing production efficiency. The biggest advantage of this series is that the processing temperature required in the injection is lower than that of conventional LSR. Products with silicone rubber and plastic composite structures usually use overmolding, and the plastic used as the base material during processing. Typically, it is not resistant to high temperatures for an extended period of time; low injection molding temperatures can not only prevent the plastic substrate from deforming, but also shorten processing time and increase production efficiency, without impacting operability time after mixing. This gives customers a greater range of substrate options.
