Besides the expertise to the design and optimization of coating systems, he has also filed a number of patents using 3D printing method and coating technologies.
The presentation explores current solutions of personalized medicine; investigates different 3D printing technologies for drug delivery with special focus on Fused Deposition Modelling (FDM). A case study of developing a mini-dispenser device for flexible dosing system for tablets based on 3D printing is demonstrated.
