Chinaplas 2008, the 22nd International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries, will rotate back to Shanghai, staging at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre, Pudong, Shanghai, PR China, from 17 - 20 April, 2008.
After years of rapid development, China has grown into a giant in the plastics industry, ranking first in the world in the production volume of plastics processing machines, second in the production of plastic products, and third in the consumption of plastic resins. Furthermore, with the rapid growth of the automobile manufacturing and transportation industries, rubber consumption in China has taken the first place in the world for four consecutive years. Chinaplas 2007 a Big Success
The 21st International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (Chinaplas 2007) closed with resounding success. The 4-day mega show hit the distinctive record of 61,621 visitors, representing an increase of 3% compared with the last edition. Among them, over 11,000 visitors came from 111 overseas countries / regions, which was 18% of total visitors. Added to this, 1,585 exhibitors from 36 countries and regions showcased the latest chemicals and raw materials as well as over 1,200 sets of advanced machines and equipment, which captured the attention of buyers successfully.
