Founded in 1960, ASSOCOMAPLAST:
- represents 167 Italian plastics and rubber machinery, ancillary equipment and moulds manufacturers (see Members’ list and production in our website)
- through its commercial company PROMAPLAST, publishes MACPLAS and MACPLAS INTERNATIONAL with a circulation of 31,000 copies, ensuring the world market coverage
- always through PROMAPLAST, organizes PLAST in Milan, second largest show in Europe, at its fifteenth edition. PLAST’09 recorded 55,175 visitors from 114 countries and 1,478 exhibitors from 45 countries (www.plast09.org), next event in 2012.
through CESAP, organizes and supports R&D and technical training activities
- on behalf of UNI, runs the Technical Committee "CEN/TC 145", drawing up European safety standards for plastics and rubber machinery
