Sinotest Equipment Co., Ltd. (referred to as Sinotest) was founded in 1959. Its original name was Changchun Testing Machinery Research Institute of the Ministry of Machinery Industry, formerly known as Changchun Machinery Science Research Institute Co., Ltd. It is a subsidiary of China Machinery Industry Group, a Fortune 500 large state-owned enterprise. Sinotest is a supporting unit of the National Testing Machinery Quality Inspection and Testing Center and the National Testing Machinery Standardization Technical Committee. The National Testing Machinery Industry Society and Association Secretariat are located in Sinotest, and it is known as the "cradle of Chinese testing machinery technology".
