The thermoplastic polyvinyl alcohol materials (TPVA) include water-soluble materials (TPVA-WSP) and oxygen barrier materials (TPVA-OBP). Both of them have excellent thermoplastic processing performance.
TPVA-WSP can be used for blown or casting film, injection molding, etc, which can be used for water-soluble packaging films, injection molding parts, etc. The TPVA-WSP films is advantageous in fast-speed water solubility without residues, high mechanical properties, heat sealing strength and unique advantages in daily chemical packaging.
TPVA-OBP can be used for blown or casting film, multilayer co-extruded, etc. It is environment-friendly with high oxygen barrier, mechanical properties, heat sealing strength. It can be used in barrier packaging applications in food, chemicals, agriculture, and industry. In addition, multi-layer barrier packaging materials fabricated by TPVA-OBP and polyolefins are recyclable.
