EAS magnetic clamping systems are designed specifically for horizontal and vertical presses. Their design takes into account specific parameters of the presses (such as opening force, safety, temperature). These magnetic clamping systems are divided into 3 types : SP, HP and LP.
SP design do not use the main frame as a pole. It is a design with less force per pole, which are partially covered poles to give less force, and thinner magnetic plate (38mm).
HP / LP design use the main frame as the south pole for high force per pole, partially covered to generate higher clamping force, and a thicker magnetic plate (55mm).
EAS magnetic clamping systems (MCS) do have a lot of advantages. They are easy to use and reduce changeover time, thus increasing productivity.
