Application in mm-Wave Radar of Electromagnetic Wave Absorbing/Transmitting Composites
The material of millimeter wave radar (MMW radar) absorbing hood takes thermoplastic resin as the base material, combined with self-developed electromagnetic wave absorbent. It is easy for rapid prototyping of complex products without secondary processing and easy to assemble.
Compared with traditional absorbing materials, this material has good mechanical properties, such as stable product structure, non-aging, high weather resistance etc., ensuring that MMW radar can be used normally in a harsh environment. The attenuation rate of electromagnetic wave is up to 80dB/cm, which meets the thinness and strong absorption development requirements of the product. When the thickness of the product is 1~2mm, it can effectively reduce clutter and sidelobe interference to the antenna main beam signal, improve the accuracy and reliability of the radar, and reduce the radar misoperation and false alarm.
In recent years, with the continuous improvement of vehicle safety standards in various countri
