OMNISTAB UV1577 represents a new class of UV absorber exhibiting very low volatility and good compatibility with a variety of polymers, co-additives and resin compositions. It allows polycarbonates and polyesters to achieve a higher resistance to weathering than conventional benzotriazole UV asorbers. 1. Particularly suitable for processing and aging conditions where high loadings, low volatility and good compatibility are required; 2.Very high UV screen actitivity allows the use of lower concentrations than with traditional UV absorbers; 3.Allowin direct two layer co-extrusion of sheets without the use of a neutral third top layer to prevent sublimation and/or deposits generated by the thin, highly UVA-loaded cap layer. OMNISTAB UV1577 is suitable for PET, PBT, PC (linear and branched), polyetherester, PMMA, acrylic copolymer, PA, PS, SAN, ASA and polyolefin, etc. It is especially suitable for polycarbonate (PC) film, sheet, plate, etc. It has good compatibility with PC.
