Properties: Trisaltyl lead sulfate, also known as tribasic lead sulfate, referred to as trisalt. White or yellowish powder, slightly sweet, toxic. The density is 7.1g/cm3, the melting point is 820C, the crystal water begins to lose above about 200C, the refractive index is 2.1, insoluble in water and organic solvents, soluble in hot ammonium acetate and alkalis, and nitric acid, hot concentrated hydrochloric acid. It is non-flammable and corrosive, easy to absorb moisture, and discoloration and decomposition when exposed to sunlight in a humid state. This product has a stable effect on polyvinyl chloride, and has excellent heat resistance and electrical insulation, and good light resistance, especially suitable for high-temperature processing.
