Sodium Antimonate ST-FS-SA

For some acid sensitive polymers and polyester, antimony trioxide, a conventional flame retardant synergist, will cause degradation of the polymer during processing, leading to the decrease of mechanical properties. The reactivity of sodium antimonate ST-FS-SA is very low, in these materials (such as: PET, PBT and PC, etc.), it is not easy to cause the degradation during processing, products have higher mechanical properties, and can also improve the CTI.
ST-FS-SA has relatively low refraction index. It offers little opacity to the plastics.
Another desirable feature of ST-FS-SA is exceptionally low tint strength which permits color pigments to exercise their maximum effect. Excellent blacks, greens, maroons, wines and other reds can be produced with less pigment than previously required. In many cases, the coloring costs of compound can be lowered significantly by using ST-FS-SA.
