Waneco® PBAT Resin

Waneco® PBAT is a kind of fully-biodegradable polymer with good ductility, elongation at break, heat resistance and impact resistance. It is the main material for producing biodegradable plastic packaging. Under composting conditions, PBAT can be broken down by microorganisms into carbon dioxide, water and other small molecules within 180 days, which does not produce toxic residues, and is environmentally friendly. Wanhua Chemical PBAT plant is located in Meishan industrial park, Sihuan Province. Phase 1 facility (60 kt/a) is scheduled to commence. Waneco® modified PBAT takes natural gas as the source. It can be customized for various end-use applications while ensuring 100% biodegradation. Widely used in paper coating, express packaging, storage bags, shopping bags.
