Staging the 22nd edition, the International Exhibition on Plastics and Rubber Industries (Chinaplas) will unveil her new look this year. The unique new look will evince the show's high professionalism, high degree of internationalization and energetic characters to the exhibitors and visitors.
Chinaplas 2008 will stage from April 17 - 20, 2008 at the Shanghai New International Expo Centre (SNIEC), Pudong, Shanghai, PR China. In this edition, the overall design and show image will comprise of mix and match patterns formed by icons which represent plastics, machinery, die & mould, semi-finished products, etc. These unique patterns can be discovered at many on-site facilities and decorations which exhibitors and visitors will find the design fresh and new.
Ms Ada Leung, Senior Sales & Marketing Manager of Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, Organizer of Chinaplas, said, "This year, the on-site design will adopt a brand new color and image. It not only provides a fresh new look to visitors, but also strengthens Chinaplas as the professional and international trade fair".
As everyone knows, the show scale of Chinaplas increases every year. In 2008, the exhibition area reaches a record-breaking scale of 134,500 sqm with over 1,700 exhibitors. To facilitate business matching of visitors and exhibitors, 8 theme zones will be set up, including auxiliary & testing equipment zone, die & mould zone, drinktec & plastic packaging zone, machinery zone, chemicals & raw materials zone, semi-finished products zone, extrusion machinery zone and Chinese export machinery and materials zone.
Ms Ada Leung continued that the Organizer intentionally to visualize the exhibits of different theme zones, such as the concave and convex shape of the mould, the bottle produced by blow moulding machine, screw cap which is a kind of semi-finished product, molecular structure, gear wheels of machinery, etc. Through the mix and match process, it generates the show's unique and new image design which demonstrates the variety of the exhibits and the professionalism of the show. Moreover, the Organizer adopts nacarat color as the theme color of the design to symbolize the vigor and energy brought by advanced plastics and rubber technology to every aspect of our daily lives. The Organizer anticipates that the new image can further upgrade the brand image of Chinaplas and enhance the sense of belongings of both exhibitors and visitors.
Besides the new image of Chinaplas and on-site design, the Organizer will also create new elements to enrich the show's contents. Every year, concurrent event is one of the major highlights of Chinaplas. Last year, the concurrent events, namely "CEO Forum" and "China-India Plastics Industry Summit", highly appealed to both visitors and media. To welcome the staging of Beijing Olympic in August, the show will incorporate sport's elements. A series of concurrent activities under the theme of "Innovative Plastics and Rubber, Sports without Limit" will be organized. These activities, including product display, performances and interactive games, will demonstrate new concepts of plastics and rubber application to sports ware and stadium facilities. Visitors can experience how these new concepts can facilitate athletes to push further their potential and physical limits.
Added to this, following the success of the "China-India Plastics Industry Summit 2007", the Organizer, Adsale Exhibition Services Ltd, will continue this momentum in 2008. Adsale will join force with China Plastics Processing Industry Association (CPPIA) and The Society of Plastics Industry, Inc. (SPI) to organize the "China-US Plastics Industry Summit". The summit will fully address on the topics of Sino-US market development trend and exploration of bilateral trading opportunities. One of the highlighted topics of the Summit is "Overview of U.S. and Chinese Market Development Trends"- the development and market trend of China's plastic product manufacturing industry and worldwide pricing trends in plastic raw materials will be analyzed. Another topic is "Resources for a Successful Partnership" addressing the services offered to assist U.S. companies entering the Chinese market. In addition, experts from the industry and representatives from renowned corporations will present "Challenges Facing the Development of the Plastics Industries in the U.S. and China". Participants can also join the panel discussion to share the success stories of U.S.-China collaboration that will push the summit atmosphere to its climax.
Plastics and rubber are widely applied to many industrial sectors, including automotive parts, building materials, information technology & telecommunication, packaging, electronics & electrical appliances, hand tools, medical equipment etc. Chinaplas 2008 will display over 1,800 sets of machines plus a wide range of chemicals and raw materials for various industries.
