CHINAPLAS 2026 once again reinforced its position as a leading platform for innovation, collaboration, and business growth in the plastics industry. The exhibition provided valuable opportunities for us to showcase our latest TPE solutions while strengthening engagement with customers and partners across the region.
CHINAPLAS is an exceptional platform for showcasing our Asian product portfolio and highlighting our 'local for local' strategy. During the exhibition, we introduced the new ALLROUNDER TREND electric machine to the Asian market. Compared with last year, we recorded a significant increase in enquiries, with 65% specifically related to the ALLROUNDER TREND. We are very satisfied with this outcome.
Our fully electric HSE series and the high-end Kautex KTC series production lines were showcased side by side, attracting professional buyers from more than 30 countries and regions, including many loyal customers who previously preferred European and American equipment. The booth saw strong visitor traffic, and we secured multiple equipment and turnkey line orders directly on-site. What we experienced was more than simple transactions; it was the collective momentum of the entire plastics and rubber ecosystem striving for growth and resilience. The value created by such a platform is our most significant takeaway.
Our overall exhibition experience was excellent. We saw strong visitor traffic with high proportion of quality professional visitors, facilitating precise and efficient business matching. Meyer attracted numerous local and overseas visitors to stop by for enquiries and in-depth discussions, fostering a highly collaborative environment. The results were remarkable, with on‑site contract signings exceeding RMB 80 million.
CHINAPLAS 2026 reached new heights in both scale and internationalization. It highlighted the circular economy, digitalization, and high performance materials, with many of the showcased technologies advancing from demonstration to practical deployment. Our priorities have shifted from pricing to supply chain stability, material performance and sustainability alignment, as well as equipment intelligence and system integration, while our purchasing approach is also transitioning from purchasing individual machines to acquiring solution based systems.

At the exhibition, you can intuitively experience how core trends like lightweighting, environmental protection, and intelligence are reshaping the landscape of injection molding and auto parts with unprecedented speed and depth. As delegation of a packaging industry association, we were impressed by the strong turnout and vibrant business atmosphere at the event, as well as the efficient, pragmatic, and fruitful industry exchanges. The exhibition successfully established a platform for connecting suppliers and buyers, effectively fostering collaboration across the entire industrial chain. With its robust technological capabilities and diverse innovative achievements, it continues to empower the plastics, rubber, and packaging industries to achieve high-quality and sustainable development.
Attending this year's exhibition was a profoundly impactful experience, as CHINAPLAS occupied the entire National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai. The scale was truly spectacular. As a dairy brand owner, we primarily focused on various packaging materials, particularly on new materials, cutting-edge processes, and innovative designs. We aim to discover selling points that appeal to consumers and help drive product sales. Within plastic packaging, design innovation and green solutions are now the key trends. We hope future editions will prominently showcase these advancements, allowing us to navigate the fairground with even clearer objectives. I look forward to the next edition, expecting greater convenience and an even richer range of options.
Through this visit, I gained an in-depth understanding of the latest R&D directions and process upgrade ideas of plastics and rubber materials and molding equipment manufacturers, such as mold intelligence, AI application implementation, and environmentally friendly low-carbon materials. It brought a lot of inspiration for our company's subsequent product iteration, technical optimization, and supply chain planning, making it a very rewarding experience and providing great support for future business collaboration and technology exchanges. Our purpose in organizing a delegation was clear - to allow colleagues to experience new products, cutting‑edge processes, and supporting supply‑chain technologies, step beyond the limitations of daily work, absorb innovative ideas, and accurately grasp development trends in home appliance components.
The exhibition is highly aligned with the lithium-ion battery separator industry, comprehensively covering core equipment, raw materials, and other key areas of separator production. Through this visit, we efficiently connected with high-quality upstream and downstream resources, and engaged in in‑depth exchanges on process upgrades, cost reduction, efficiency enhancement, and localization practices. The insights gained provided valuable reference for our technology R&D, product iteration, and supply chain optimization, effectively helping us seize development opportunities amidst tight industry balances.
During CHINAPLAS 2026, the Outdoor Industry Committee of the China Sporting Goods Federation (COA) organized a professional guided tour that visited more than ten exhibitors. Exhibitor specialists provided deep dives into material properties and applications, along with one-on-one consultations on product development and practical deployment, delivering high-value, actionable professional knowledge to the delegation. Brand practitioners usually focus on substrates, auxiliary materials, and finished products; the guided tour successfully shifted our perspective upstream, enabling us to understand product development principles from the material source.
This year's exhibition brought together more than 2,300 automotive-related exhibitors from around the world, showcasing cutting-edge solutions that span lightweight composites, eco-friendly low-carbon materials, and next-generation battery technologies. CHINAPLAS has evolved beyond a mere trading platform for the plastics and rubber industries; it is now a lens that clearly reflects global manufacturing macro-trends and shifts. As such, serving as a benchmark for the high-quality transformation and development of Tianjin's automotive parts industry.
CHINAPLAS offers an excellent opportunity to learn about advanced technologies, equipment, and raw material options — while also comparing pricing and engaging in meaningful negotiations with suppliers. We expect this will lead to substantial collaborations and procurement opportunities.
Attending CHINAPLAS was a win for us. It’s one thing to email, but it’s another thing entirely to meet face-to-face. We finally got to vet those 'hard-to-find' manufacturers and catch up with our current partners in person for the first time. It really changed the vibe from just 'buying stuff' to building a partnership. We walked away with much better trust, stronger deals, and a few new material options that we definitely wouldn't have discovered online.
CHINAPLAS presented a comprehensive range of recycling technologies that match Türkiye's industry priorities. The exhibition highlighted global momentum toward circularity and higher‑value recycled materials. Innovations in plastic recycling, compatibilizers, and closed‑loop process automation provide practical pathways to increase yield, reduce contamination, and meet regulatory requirements. Engagements at CHINAPLAS will enable Turkish recyclers to modernize operations, improve cost‑efficiency and supply more consistent recycled polymers to domestic manufacturers.
The Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing (FMM) successfully coordinated a delegation of close to 70 participants from Malaysia to visit the exhibition. Our delegation was highly impressed by the extensive showcase of advanced raw materials, machinery technologies, and innovative manufacturing solutions, particularly in the rigid plastics segment. The exhibition provided our members with valuable business exposure, networking opportunities, and direct engagement with highly innovative suppliers offering competitive technologies and solutions. Overall, members found the exhibition highly beneficial and relevant to the manufacturing industry.
The Poland Recycling Association greatly benefited from participating in CHINAPLAS 2026. The exhibition showcased state-of-the-art plastic recycling technologies and eco-friendly additives that are essential for meeting EU environmental targets. The insights gained will accelerate Poland's transition toward a circular economy and enhance the competitiveness of our recycling industry. We look forward to applying these solutions to strengthen infrastructure and broaden the use of recycled plastics across multiple sectors.
