Join us on April 25, 2024, as GIZ and Chinaplas unite to present the Sustainable Textile Forum, spearheading discussions on the industry's sustainable future.
This concise half-day event brings together industry leaders, fostering innovation and practical initiatives, establishing a unique platform for intellectual exchange. The forum scrutinizes China's sustainable textile policies, covering key aspects such as the "14th Five-Year Plan," carbon footprint labels, manufacturing efficiency enhancements, and discarded textile recycling. Textile factories/parks share successful green manufacturing experiences, offering valuable insights for sustainable development. The forum also explores the carbon footprint and labeling of textile products, with EU policy experts interpreting regulations and sharing fabric carbon emission footprint labeling practices. GIZ will lead talks on circular business models for discarded textiles, presenting cases with textile brand enterprises to showcase diverse circular economy practices. Lastly, a roundtable on Textile Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) invites representatives from CNTAC, EU experts, and textile brands to strategize China's textile industry's sustainable future, covering topics like green production, certification, carbon footprint, international e-commerce, and textile recycling.
Through on-site interactions like question boards and sticker exchanges, the forum aims to inspire contemplation and inject innovative energy into sustainable textiles. We eagerly anticipate your participation in collectively guiding the textile industry toward a more sustainable future.
